I recently had an article on the Libertarian Institute website making the case against the separation of Church and state, especially with respect to Oklahoma’s Bible mandate.
Libertarianism is agnostic as to how public schools are to be run. There is neither an imperative to institute secularism nor religious practices. Whether a mandate is just or not depends on the constituency of a particular school board. The prohibition on the integration of Church and state does not mandate a neutral starting point, it violates the property rights of the taxpayers of a given jurisdiction. The taxpayers are the legitimate owners of so-called public goods, and their use should not be governed by arbitrary secular mandates.

I love this quote! "A public school is not really public. The enterprise is built on the foundation of stolen resources—taxes." Keep up the good work!
